It's Halloween!
Happy Halloween! Lot's of photos to choose from today... that is before my batteries died.
This is Diane and Diane they went to the Bon Jovi concert last night and decided it was a good deal to come this morning (get it "deal"... deal or no deal) Diane is Howie and Diane's one of the models.
It's good that I dressed up.. I got to be in the "special" section for people with costumes.
This is what the preparations looked like when I got there...
This is what I looked like... the Undead Ann Curry.
so maybe I don't quite look like her but close enough...
Here's Natalie at the news desk.
This poor cheerleader in Auburn Washington was run over by football players. They just kept playing the clip over and over... it looked painful.
Here she is...
Here's some more of the people dressed up in their costumes.
Oh yeah, there was news to report. Here's Tim Russert talking to Meredith.
And Tim talking about the debate last night.
Here's Meredith and Matt before the festivities.
Here's that shot again... maybe I'll get the shot with Ann when she comes back from Antarctica.
Here's Al and Meredith.
Robert Goulet died. I saw him in Camelot once...
Here's a giraffe and some ghostbusters.
Get ready next week Today goes everywhere...
Here are some last minute costume ideas. I have to admit I didn't watch too much of the show today because there was so much going on.
They had a pen set up for the paparazzi.... eh, I mean Journalists.
Lester came in to help out with things...
Here's Jimmy and Jimmy.
Here's Hoda.
Here's Meredith with Al in the background.
Hoda and Matt....
and here's Tiki.
There's Ann in the Crystal Ball.
If you haven't heard it or figured it out - they were the Munsters. Natalie was Eddie... I'll get to photos of her soon.
This is what they looked like from the front.
Hoda made a good Marilyn.
Her shoes were nice too.
This is Julia - she was a letter from the IRS to Matt.
I've got a better picture coming up later.
Tiki was spot the Munsters pet.
I received this nice souvenir hat - it will go with my pumpkin one from yesterday.
Here's Natalie.
and Natalie's shoes...
This is the cast of Young Frankenstein... they were down at the other end of the plaza so I didn't really get to see them.
Here's a piece of pizza and the chef.
More behind the scene's photos from the behind...
More shoe photos.
Peter Greenberg talked about haunted travel spots (I think).
More paparazzi.
Whose your mummy?
Meredith being interviewed.
Here's Peter again.
Al... or should I say Grandpa.
Hey look! It's the NBC peacock.
Spot and Marilyn have a deep conversation.
Here's what was happening at the other end of the Plaza.
Tiki's teeth are just as white as his costume... I wonder if they are naturally that way....
Look it's his shoes?
Here's Julia and her Mom Allison. They've been coming for about five years now. Last year they were paratroopers. I remember them from the show...
This woman is in Young Frankenstein. I'm sorry but I don't know her name...
Here's Lester doing the news...
Bears were handed out.... I actually got one (my lucky streak continues!).
Here's Lenny in his Frankenstein hat...
Here's another costume...
Jack Frost and the ice princess were all decked out...
Even the dogs got in on the act... here's Yoda.
This puppy was a scarecrow... very cute.
This is the back of Joan Rivers head... she was dressed as her daughter Melissa and Melissa was dressed as Joan....
Here are the sides of their heads ... and this is where my camera died.
All in all it was a pretty good day. If I can afford it I will come next year and go all out. It was fun... sometimes I forget how fun it can be to get out and celebrate.
See you tomorrow.
